About Me

I'm a Christian, husband, father, friend, witness, pastor-teacher, Bible student, shade-tree mechanic, classic car guy, motorcyclist, and handyman.

 I was born and raised in the Chicago area. I met my wife at Moody Bible Institute and we were married in 1982.  I received my Master of Divinity degree from Talbot Seminary and my Doctorate of Ministry degree from Liberty University.  I have been happily pastoring at Avalon Hills Bible Church in Virginia Beach since 1993. 

My beautiful wife, Teresa, and I have three adult sons, 2 daughters-in-law, and 5 grandchildren (plus 2 more already in heaven).
